General dance & learning faqs

Most students start to feel way more comfortable dancing socially after 4–8 private lessons, but improvement continues with practice. Every dancer progresses differently depending on goals and frequency.

Not at all! Many of our students come solo. Our instructors rotate partners during lessons so everyone learns to lead and follow comfortably.

Top beginner favorites include Salsa, Bachata, Waltz, Rumba, Foxtrot, and Swing — fun, versatile styles perfect for social events and weddings.

Absolutely! Our instructors specialize in working with beginners. With personalized guidance, you’ll gain rhythm, coordination, and confidence — no experience needed.
