What a night to remember!
On Thursday, February 12th, the dance floor at The Ballroom of Sarasota came alive with energy, laughter, and romance. We hosted our special Valentine’s Social Dance Party, and I am so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us.

More Than Just a Dance Class
For many of our guests, this wasn’t just about practicing steps—it was about connection. We ditched the boring dinner reservations and traded them for an evening of elegance and fun.
The atmosphere was electric. From the moment the doors opened at 7:00 PM, the room was filled with the sounds of Rumba, Swing, and Waltz. It was fantastic to see students of all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced dancers—sharing the floor together.
No Partner? No Problem!
One of the highlights of the night was seeing how inclusive our community is. As promised, no partner was required, and it worked perfectly!
Many guests arrived solo and quickly found themselves dancing with new friends. The “mixer” format allowed everyone to mingle, proving that you don’t need a significant other to enjoy a Valentine’s event. The vibe was welcoming, safe, and completely judgment-free.
Treats and Beats
Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without some treats. Our guests enjoyed a complimentary Open Bar and delicious hors d’oeuvres throughout the night. It was the perfect way to refuel between dances and chat with fellow dance enthusiasts in our lounge area.
